front mount cultivators

Can anyone tell me if they think jd 400 midmount cultivators can be fabricated to be mounted on the front of a 4 wheel drive tractor? Thanks

cant get my hands on a new or slightly used tractor in 2 wd in 4-6 weeks i have been trying for 2 months but with little success 4wd are more common and easier to negotation fair price

Why not just get a rear-mount cultivator?

They are absolutly light-years more advanced than those old belly mounts. They do a better job with more speed and they are far, far easier to control.

A rear mount are you kidding? There is no cultivator better than a front mount on a narrow front tractor. You can not cultivate contours with a rear mount. If a planter will plant it a front mount will cultivate it. You must be a flatland farmer with big square fields. If you are I am jealous LOL we farm all hills and contours

I've seen more crops destroyed with a rear mount cult than I have with a frt. I love to see someone run a rear mount cult in rows that were laid out between terraces that weren't contour and not damage crops. It's amazing how many cult's were used until herbicides came into widespread use

PS:No everyone farmed flat land such as in Nebraska so terraces were a must to keep soil from washing away
