I'm not a expert on tractors and was wondering If someone could tell me a little about the tractor I just bought. It's 53 Golden Jubilee and was wondering the history behind them.Any thing you could tell me would be appreciated.

When the N series Fords ended in 1952,they were replaced by the NAA(later 600 series)."Jubilee" was named/built to celebrate Fords 50th or Golden Jubilee anniversary in 1953.Essentially it's a 1953 only NAA/600 model with a special anniversary noseplate

I have a original brochure on the Jubilee telling all about the new features like HY-Trol,Red Tiger engine and new implements,it's 24 pages in color. It will tell you everything you need to know about the new Ford tractor, can send you pictures if interested.

Not quite... The Jubilee is a '53 only NAA with the anniversary nose plate, but a Jubilee or NAA is NOT the same as a 600 series. The 600's came out in '55, and had a number of changes... transmission, rear axles, hydraulics, etc.

That you very much for answering my E-mail. I would love to see what you have in the way of information and pictures.Being fords anniversary year is the tractor rare.

Here"s a couple of pictures of my 1954 NAA. you can compare it to your 1953 Jubilee. They are almost identical.

Spinner knob on the steering wheel will break your thumb or fingers. If a front tire catches on something the steering wheel will spin.Happens during plowing a lot.I hooked on s sapling while pulling through a mud spot with a trailer load of firewood. The wheel spun fast.Tricycle tractors are famous for spinning the wheel out of your hand.

Great looking tractor, Leo.
Mine wasn't fixed up quite as nice as yours, but it was a joy to use.
I had to sell it when I moved to town. But now that I am retired and back on the farm, I wish I still had it. :(

Funny thing, all the years I had it I didn't know it had a hidden tool box under the floorboard, until just before I sold it.
