Yesterday the clutch went out on one of my 165 MF Got everything off an getting ready to split it But it seem as if someone had tinkered with the temperture sending unit in the head an way over tightened it Burgered it up pretty good to I was able to get a 15mm line wrench on it but it just rounded it off Any body got any ideals about how to get this thing out

There's a UNIQUE tool called a "Vise Grip" made for problems just like this. If that doesn't work, MANGLE the darned thing, and do what you need to do, then replace the heat gauge. BT,DT, nothing to obsess over!

lol Done try vise grip Thats usally the tool of choose when something wont come out but this thing is being one stubber b!*#h

How about a small pipe wrench with a short cheater pipe on the handle.

Try a little heat if the heat will not wreck something else.
