Ford 2000 light industrial loader/backhoe

I just bought a Ford 2000 with a 720 Ford loader and 723 Ford Backhoe with the four cylinder gas engine. Can someone help me with trying to figure out what year it really is. The S/N on the right side is: 21300 and between the two diamonds below that is: 23184. The BH is component I9-300 S/N 4947 and the Loader is I9-249 S/N 4737. It has the 1964 sheet metal design hood and side cowlings and no PTO. I want to get started on the restoration but first I want to be sure what I have. My gut says its a 1965 first series since they made the four cylinder light industrial 64 design into the 1965 year for a short time. It is Blue on the case and the fenders and hood and side cowling is that yellow type color. Any help would be great.

I have photos to post once I figure out how on this site.

If the photos are on your computer, you can upload direct to post. Look down below the comments section for "ADVANCED POSTING TOOLS" and click on upload photo. I use it all the time. After photo is uploaded, be sure to click on "continue" or it will not show up.

2xxxx 2000
x1xxx built after aug 1962
xx30x light industrial w/non adjustable front axle.
xxxx0 4 speed trans and no PTO.

23184 was built in April 1963
The first tractor built in april 1963 was 20351 and the first tractor built in may 1963 was 23449. So yours was built some time in the last week of april.

The color is Blue and Buff.

They did build this tractor late into 1965 but your serial # would have to be 64440 or higher for it to be a 65.

If you post your question on the Ford board of this site some of the other guys can help you with the BH and loader.

Thank you very much for the information. I will persue the search for service parts manuals based on this tractor being a 1963/64. I will try to post my photos. I am confused on the Buff color. My friend has a 1964 Ford 4000 and it looks like a gray color. My cowlings are a yellow to beige type color and after welding some small cracks and sanding on them I see no gray anywhere.
