Every day has bitter and sweet...

Sweet part... Days are getting longer, stuff is budding, foals are due starting next week, wife is getting bareable (one of them short day depressed folks) and outside to see things. She cleaned the paddocks behind the barn today and said "this place looks like he!!, why don't you put a nice building in that corner for your stuff and do something over there? I'll be visiting the sawmill Monday afternoon...........
Nother good thing, my tractor starts and runs fine, no coolant loss/use (retorqued the head) and hydraulik pump isn't leaking like before.

Bad, rear main on the tractor is leaking like a sieve..........

Good, kid in town ordered what he needs and will fix it next weekend.

The cup's half full......

Dave. Always seems that way.Just keep the faith pal. It's taking the bitter with the sweet crapola. Thanks for the swell reply on the 2nd ugliest piece of equipment. Will be quite a while before the Old Ford gets re=painted, But when it gets a new Face, LOOK OUT!! Stars And stripes forever. Regards LOU & VICTOR. P.S. Sorry to hear about the mains. I'm sure the guy will do it right(as he has worked for you before) then you will be back to square # 1 again.

Well Friday was beautiful here, Yesterday was more a mid March day. Today pretty chilly but sunny and showing potential. Today marks a year since wifey walked out. Good or bad it was all her choice. A fellow named Mike was down yesterday and figured out what is wrong with my 97' F-150 and he'll be back this morning with the parts to fix it (he worked in a Ford garage and was the lucky tech that got stuck working on this perticular style engine) now he's freelancing. Brad and friend popped in yesterday for the weekend and in addition to tomorrow being the first day of spring, it's also kid sister's 45th birthday, she's catching up to me!
To top the whole weekend (so far) I was able to catch a sparrow in my hat that's been trapped inside the garage for the last day and a half and gave him a toss out the door. Maybe he'll remember me and not drop a bomb on my windshield.
Life is good so far!

is happy;
GOOD LUCK MY GOOD FRIEND HAVE A GREAT DAY

Manipulating the thoughts of a wife is an art..Just wish I could get it to a system instead of hit and miss.... Either way, Gonna measure tomorrow and drop a list off at the mill. Just gonna be a leanto type witha floor of either cement or cobblestone that can be used for a horse shelter in an emergency but it's a start. I was getting ired of looking at the mess too just had to hold out til it was her idea :roll:
