Larry, wife and I really enjoy all your pictures. She asked about New Jersey and Pa and the best I could tell her was you lived in NJ and had a little farm in Pa. Can you explain..acres, buildings, equipment and such?

Ido live and work in NJ and the farm is in Pa , We have 62 acres which the neighbor farms, I have a small raised bed garden here in nj and I plant a large garden in PA , I go on most weekends to pa ,Today I got done a little early at work, so I snuck away this afternoon, I get carried away with taking pictures,I hope it doesnt become annoying,

Annoying? Nah, not ever....neat to see different areas. Thanks for the explanation. I go through Pa on route 15 to visit my son in VA. Pa is a neat state..kinda rednecky, I like that.

In our area is pa dutch, really good neighbors, the neighbor who farms the land farmed it with his grandfather ,I have had many meals with his grandmother, she is still doing great ,I helped her butcher chickens last fall.

Stitzel's Auction 90% is his Tractors & if his price isn't met they just take it home !Most of the Dealers'& Farmers I know Dont even Go any more.A few Years back they only sold 4-6 tractors PO a lot of bidder's off .

Sorry for the mistake on the sale ,thought it was Stitzel's deal .The photo's you posted they look nice ,wish I lived closer [I live near Ithaca,NY] or I would go to it .Thank's Dale

Dust? You have Dust? Mud season is just getting underway here, what with frost just starting to come out, and bare patches through the snow. I long for dust. If I dared venture off the driveway, or asphalt, I'd be mired for sure. Of course, skeeters will be out long before the dust. There's just 2 seasons here. Winter and Skeeters. Otherwise known as Road Construction Season.

(quoted from post at 17:10:32 03/19/11) Dust? You have Dust?

I tried to brush hog some weeds here in western PA today. It quickly turned into a mud-bogging event.

I suspect the dust in the photos is some sort of photographic anomaly.
