Wallace Head and Crank ID Question

Just wondering if someone would have the books to tell me if the head and block in the picture would be for a Wallace tractor, or what they might fit if not? The head # is 7319A, and the crank shaft is 5736A. Many thanks for any help you can provide. Bob

Not claiming to be the expert here but the two wallis tractors that I have been around were cranked through the rear wheel to a shaft in the belt pulley. That crank has the jaws to be cranked from the front.

Also the casting numbers you have make me think Case. From the fan pulley I would look at parts books for either C or L.

Sorry for my ramblings but worth checking.

I just checked my parts books for C and L Case; neither number shows up in either of them. The manifold does not match anything for C or L either.
I'm wonder if they were from prototype B or G, the predecessors to C and L.

The last of the Wallis units were crank started from the front.. I want to say they are what became the Massey Harris Pacemaker and Challenger.

That "insignia" (the "S") in the head I have saw that before.. But i cannot remember which of my tractors it was on.. Not saying the head fits one of mine at all, but would narrow it down a touch.

A friend of mine has a pair of the later Wallis tractors, but they're packed in pretty deep till they get out their farm equipment, so i can't sneak a look. They also have the flat leather belt, like your crank has the pulley for.

I tried to get registered for the Massey webpage, but have never been cleared to go. Said they were having trouble with their site.

I"ve owned CASE C"s, D"s, and L"s. At first look
at the head I thought it was CASE. I had a early
CASE model C that had a flat fan belt.

The head and manifold looks identical to what is on my Challenger, the crankshaft appears to be the same except for the flat fan belt pulley. My guess is that these are Wallis 12-20 parts, since it preceeded the Challenger. I checked in my parts books, and the Challenger uses different part numbers than what you listed. BT
