Had to call on a customer about 20 miles from me this afternoon. I took the Crow route, town and county roads. Temp got up to a balmy 18F with sunny skies this afternoon. There were about 30 deer on the hillside, but they were spread out across it. Knowone here is going to be planting crops anytime soon. The town highway crews have been pushing banks back to the ditches. We're suppose to get some rain here Sunday, but it could be more snow.

Nice pictures as usual!! We"re getting rain and freezing rain over the week-end and some snow to boot!! Old man winter won"t let up.

Nice pictures. A part of the country I've never seen at all. Maybe
this web site should add a farm country photo blog. Would like to see it in summer.

Would be nice to see picture in the summer too, just catching that two week window can be tricky.....

Thanks for sharing your photos. I especially loved the photo of the tapped maples. A triple-tap on one of those two big dogs.

If you would have told me those photos were taken around here in SW Wisconsin I wouldn't have doubted you. However, I could tell it wasn't MN or IA because the roads are surfaced :)

We still have 4 seasons here in the Northeast though. Almost winter, winter, still winter and road construction. With New York State's budget/bankrupcy problems there's only 2 types of tires available now, Studded snows and mud boggers.
