FEL control valve?

My current tractor (Allis D17) has an FEL. There are two levers that operate it. One raises/lowers the boom, the other lever scoops/dumps the bucket. The cylinders are 2 way. I'm looking to replace the control valve (I think it leaks internally) with the kind that has one single lever that controls all the functions. The hydraulic pump maintains pressure as long as the engine is running.

What sort of control valve should I get? I'm reading the descriptions of 4 of them, but I do not understand their definitions. 2 of the control valves are $200, one is $160, and the last one is $100. I mostly use the tractor for moving loose materials, clearing snow, moving brushpiles, etc. Here is the description of the 4 valves:

1. "monoblock loader valve with regeneration is a 2-spool loader valve rated for 10 GPM and 4500 PSI, with adjustable relief preset at 2000 PSI. Spool actions are regeneration with spring-centering and 4th position float. Tandem center spools with joystick handle. $200"

2. "monoblock loader valve is a 2-spool loader valve rated for 10 GPM and 4500 PSI, with adjustable relief preset at 2000 PSI. Spool actions are spring-centering and 4th position float. Tandem center spools with joystick handle. $200"

3. "4-way with floats; has balanced spools with select fit. Load checks to prevent load drops when shifting directions. Good for use on snowplows, dozers, loaders etc. Float valves allow blade or bracket to float along ground. Will accept power beyond plug conversion. Relief preset at 2000 PSI. $160"

4. "Up to 20 GPM with 4 ports. Factory pre-set at 1500 PSI, has adjustable relief valve. For lower pressure, turn counter-clockwise. Adjustable from 1000 to 3000 PSI. Precision honed and plated, spools are hydraulically balanced. Spring centered. 3/4in. inlet/outlet ports, 1/2in. work ports. $100"

What valve would you suggest I buy?

Depends on your tractor series and hyd pump. Is it the internal pump on a series 1, 2, or 3? High 3200 lb. pressure. Series 4 had the lower pressure system. Is it an add-on pump, mounted in front, run by the engine coupling? You need to find out your system pressure and match the "joystick" valve to handle that.

It's a D17 Series III. The pump is external, mounted in front, and driven by a straight shaft coming from the front of the crank. I believe the pressure is 3000 psi from what is written in the manual.

3000 psi is the internal pump...front mounted pump is 2500psi or less and is high volume.
the internal pump is low volume and uses smaller cylinders.

I would agree that the front pump is LIKELY a lower pressure, high volume one. Pump ID would be good, since the second one I installed on my reversed WD, a Cessna, is similar in size and design to what is on the Gleaner F2 combine. That runs around 2000 psi.

Northern Tool. I got a catalog in the mail and was browsing through it when I came across the hydraulics section and found the valves.
