OT: 10 below zero but at least it quit snowing.

I get a kick out of 6 inches of snow and 20 degrees shutting down schools, offices and whole cities. Around Minnesota, that would be a short sleave shirt day in April. I took these pics this morning, temp was 10 below, with a -24 wind chill. Snow drifts are 3 to four feet and the snow is over my knees on the level areas. Our kids haven't had a snow day this year. It's just too nice weather for that.

Our daughter is a paralegal and Office Manager for a real estate title company in Washington DC.

A month or so ago, they had about 2 inches of snow one day. After lunch, a couple of the younger employees wanted to go home because of the snow.

Amy told them, "Look, the boss is from Minnesota, our staff attorney is from Ohio, and your Office Manager is from Nebraska. We don't go home for 2 inches of snow".
 
Have you been around Aitkin long? Back in the '60's, '70's and maybe into the '80's a man by the name of Henry Mead owned and managed the newspaper in Aitkin.

I managed another newspaper he owned in Seward, NE from '68 to '71. He committed suicide about 10 years ago, and my wife was possibly the last person to see him alive.

He was the last person on earth I thought would come to that kind of an end.
