38 in rear jd tires

I have a G jg and it has 14.9 rear tires. What sizes will fit jd g rears 18 in?thanks rmk

Most likely the rims are 12 inches wide, which means you need either 13.6x38 OR 14.9x38.

Your rim width will determine how wide of tire you can put on there.

If the rims are 16" wide then yes you could put 18.4's on it.

If the rims are only 12" then you will need to widen the rims or buy new to mount 18.4's on it.

Not so sure the "G" came with any wider tires than an "A" and the "A" came with 11" rims..
