Hope you enjoy, maybe not., 70* here Sat.

Living in a desert Wonderland
Palm trees wave, are you listenin'?
In the pool, waters glistnin'.
A beautiful sight,
We're happy tonight,
Living in a desert wonderland.
Gone away, is the blizzard,
Here to stay is the lizard,
A warm sunny day,
We like it that way.
Livin' in a desert wonderland.
In the desert we will picnic,
Cactus, sand and rattlesnakes and sun.
Christmas dinner is an old tradition,
It's pinto beans and tacos by the ton.
Later on, we'll perspire.
Temperatures rise, even higher.
A warm sunny day,
We like it that way.
Livin' in a desert wonderland!

That just makes me ill.
There's something worse than taxes in NY- the WEATHER!
My hope is that I'll live long enough to outlast some animals, commitments, etc. so that I can see the wonderful west.

I actually have relatives that came here to the Kansas City area from the Surprise AZ area for the holidays. Seems like a bad trade to me. Snow here tomorrow.

I hear you. Upper 80's here in the day and it's been in lower 70's at night. Jumbo shrimp are in season and cheap, so that's the Chrismas Eve menu.

Thats great, but really weird. I often wondered what people in warm areas did with no snow, and cold? Iv seen it on tv but never really have been to a warm area for Christmas. Instead of a snow man, you have a lizard, and sand? Its hard to imagine, when I have never been out of NY for the winter.

Great Now comes Wis.
Cold is here ,
snow is glisten
freezein pipes
I'm a wait n

To jump on a plane ,or flag down a train, an head for the desert once again

Gone away is the sunlight
here to stay is the frostbite
My car doesn't start
I aint got the heart,
to call out the wrecker once again.

IN the mornin I'll just stay in bed dear/
you get up and fire the old wood stove
don't you give me grief on this demand dear ,
or I'll throw your old buns out in the snow.

later on I'll require
brandy alexander by the fire
a day with out stress
No more of this mess

bout time I'm getting more.
your getting less.

words & Music By LOU,
poke her

Thats a great song, not going to let the wife read it because she hates winter. She has to tell me everyday how much.
