We have had about a week of continuous lake effects snow. Nothing earthshattering, but consistant and very localized. we now have about 1ft.here. 75 miles west 3-4ft., and 13miles to my north, just a dusting. JD to my south east about 25miles must have 16-20" now. Any way it cleared a little this afternoon, saw a lot of deer and turkeys out feeding mid day. A sign to me that there is another storm moving in. Well one of the pics with about 100 turkeys just left of first pic.wouldn't up load. There had to be 150 turkeys in this flock. It's clear and only 6F here at the moment.

You sure can. You just have to stay on the established trails, have insurance, regristration and all that stuff. Got to wait till the lakes freeze over though before you go on them.

got about 2 inches or less here in cobleskill also, Go over a to schoharie and the snow increased alot

Good Grief!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope we don't get hit again this year. Some snow isn't bad but 20" is unreal all at one time. Swell pictures, I enjoy em while sipping hot coffee and looking at the photos. Thanks. REGUARD, LOU.

Tough on wildlife for sure. Early snow cover going to be hard on their fat reserves to absorb.

They oughta drain that Lake Ontario dry. Channel it off into the St. Lawrence River or something. Then plant corn.

That would end all that lake effect snow business overnight.

Stimulus money project ??

FYI. Lake Ontario runs into the St Lawrence river. That's after the water from the river on my farm in Wisconsin has flowed into Lake Ontario, after visting several other ponds along the way.
