BELKNAP BLUE GRASS TRACTOR??????

hello

I got a BELKNAP BLUE GRASS 16hp tractor, it sat in a barn for many many many years, it has a hydro 50" deck and hydro drive, headlights and 3 point, can anyone give me any info??? I know it was made in KY by BELKNAP hardware , but whats its value, year ect.....??
 
If you'd do a little research (or read previous replies in yesterdays post) you'd know that mower WAS NOT "made in Ky by Belknap Hdw". It was DISTRIBUTED by Belknap Hdw, who didn't manufacture mowers on their own, but had them built by others, (most likely Gilson/MTD) badged as Belknap/Bluegrass products. Also, they aren't terribly valuable as a mower. Best chance of getting a decent price might be from someone who collects Belknap/Bluegrass products rather than from a garden tractor collector. Belknap was a hardware DISTRIBUTOR and NOT a manufacturer.
 
Sounds like a MTD 990 as they were sold under various names.Proably worth around $300 to $500 to a garden tractor collector.I've had several and thats about what I got.There is a forum for older MTD tractors at MTF
