I gotta help my brother figure out how to set up his 3 pt plow on his 550, and then I'll hook the 4 bottom on the 1855 & send Dad out, and then put the 3 bottom on the 1600 and go out myself.

Gonna have to get a picture of that- 3 ollies goin in 1 feild. And yes, there will be poo on the tires. Dad has been hauling every chance he gets.

Forgot to mention- All the plows are Oliver too. Brother actually picked up 2 Oliver 2 bottom 3 pt. mounted plows. One is a 14", the other is a 16". Can't remember the model right now, but both are in pretty good shape. I think his 550 should handle the 2-16's in our soil. My 1600 is pulling 3-16's and the 1855 is on 4-16's.

Don, I wish I could be there to watch. It'll be a nice family social gathering, I'm sure. Last weekend my son and his friend did some plowing with the old iron. His friend is a town kid but he bought his grandpa's super-nice Farmall Super M and he was excersizing it with a 3X14 plow. The plow was green but it did have an IH hyd cylinder to make it slightly authentic. The soil was real black and hard so 3X14's was a good load. He would have plowed for a week if I would have let him. My son was pulling a recently purchased Deere 555 4X14's with a Deere R and the tractor was really struggling in second gear in the tough spots. Couldn't get the four bottom to scour so there's some polishing to be done by next fall. Enjoy your weekend! Jim
