JD parts for all brands

I picked up a copy of "The Furrow" a John Deere
magazine at the Doctors office. A big ad says
that John Deere dealers have "Parts Country"parts
for all brands, and that Deere dealers are "Your
one stop source"
Has anyone here had any opinion or experiance ?

Most likely those parts are coming from A&I. You will probably get a better deal on price by going to an independent A&I dealer.

You can go to your dealer or the jdparts.com website with a number for say a bearing or a belt or a filter and the parts system will cross it, if possible to a Deere part#.

(Or, possibly A&I, of which DEERE is a significant shareholder.)

I needed a TO bearing for a Ford 850 a couple of years ago, and the Deere price was WAY less than FIAT or even the local NAPA, for a genuine Aetna bearing, same mfg's part number as the original.

It doesn't ALWAYS work out like that, but it doesn't hurt to check, and signing up at jdparts.com makes it easy.
