The Oliver experts haven't replied so I will take a crack at it. It is my understanding that the Perkins 354 is too wide for the bath tubs that are designed for the Waukesha engines. You need the bath tub from an 1850 diesel.

How about if I had an 1550 frame. Would that help? I need to be as light as possible.

That would still be designed for a Waukesha engine. I don't think an 1850 gas will work either. Have you posted on the Oliver forum?
