I have a small hole in bottom corner of radiator, Is JB Weld ok to use or am I better off trying to solder it? I have a torch and solder for plumbing if that will work. Which will be better? Thanks in advance Mike

If you can solder it, its a better fix. Remember that when you solder, getting the metal clean is the big thing. use a wire brush or sandpaper to get it dowm to bright clean metal and then apply flux so the metal won't oxidize when you heat it. Apply only enough heat so when you touch the solder to the metal it melts. The metal has to melt the solder, not the flame.

It would be better to solder it but you should use 70/30 solder not the 50/50 that most plumbing solder is. Radiators are soldered with more tin in the mix.

Do it right the first time use solder you do not have to use plumbing solder lead will not matter get the metal clean and use flux good luck!
