Massey Ferguson 1155 Engine Rebuild

I have a MF 1155 that I bought about a year ago. It seemed to run pretty good, but was missing some sheet metal and was in need of paint. I worked on it last winter and fixed the three point, gave it a paint job and replaced the missing cosmetic parts.
This season I have used it to cut hay, rake, and bale and it has performed well. Early in the year it smoked a bit from the crank case vent, but now I get oil as well as smoke.

So I guess it"s time for a rebuild. I see kits for the Perkins V8 are out there and was wondering if anyone can tell me what it typically costs to go through an engine like this. Other than the blow by it"s in very good condition – everything works.

get a repair manual and check the requirements for grinding the crank.if its not done right you will end up with it broken.
