Photo Upload

Upload them to a free photo-sharing site, then put the link to the photo in your post.

Tinypic is quick and easy. You DO NOT need to register there, just go to the link and upload. (Someone on another Forum posted that they weren't accepting new members, but I am still uploading from that link without having registered or signing in.)

For a fancier place that lets you put together albums, Photobucket is also free, but requires registration and sign-in.

Use a photo software program to size the photos to 600 or 650 pixels wide for posting to this site before uploading them to the photo share site.

(quoted from post at 21:04:48 08/07/10) I would like some help/information on how to upload photos onto this board. Thanks in advance.
efore you can post photos on this site you will have to register first, and then you need to have a few posts under your belt before posting pics.

Eddie,
This is from a post I put up on the JD Forum on August 1st:

Earlier I posted a pic directly from my computer and Kurt_JDB asked how I did it. Here's how:
At the bottom of a new post or a reply to a post I click on "Upload Photo" under Advanced Posting Procedures. This opens a new small sub-screen where I click on "Browse".

This opens "My Pictures" on my computer where I select the folder I want and then click the pic I want. Then I click on "Open".

After I click on "Open" my computer goes back to the small sub-screen where I click on "Upload".

After a delay of 5 or 6 seconds, the pic I selected appears on the sub-screen and then I click "Continue".

After checking over the text of my message I click on "Post Message".

Thanks for the compliment.

One of these days I'll show how to make the photos "fit" without having to scroll to the right.
