A year ago GM and the CAW (canadian auto workers union) could not come to an agreement on a new contract. GM wanted concessions and the union did not. They were all over the news crying about what the concessions would do to them. At the time I said better to give a little now rather than loose it all later. I guess they decided to loose it all later. There are problems at BOTH ends of the corporate ladder.
