dug potatoes, harvested vegetables, tilled the potato patch and planted string beans and some more cukes. Mowed grass , it started to rain as I just got finished. Didnt pick much sweet corn the coons did that for me. The yukon gold potatoes did very well. Loaded up and headed home to come back to nj to pour concrete sidewalks monday morning. I took a lot of vegetables to the nursing home tonight to give to the girls that take care of my mom.

Larry: I'm jelous. Your growing season is 2-3 weeks ahead of ours. Nice bounch of vegies. We're harvesting summer squash, broccoli, pickling cuks, and the green beans as of today,(we had to plant them 3 times, would not germinate) Got a monster blue hubbard plant growing. Always enjoy wour pics. Acg.

Potatoes look good, but the green (bell) peppers look better.

Looks like some very good "fried" squash too!

Thanks for sharing your photos with us.

A friend of ours keeps the coons out of his corn by running a hotwire down low, maybe 6 in off the ground. He's had good success.

Man, that is a potatoe! What a shovelful!
Your Tracker looks just about identical to mine- mine's typically full of hay rather than vegatables, though.

How do you cook up your patty-pan squash? This is the first year we've grown them- they are doing great and the kids think they look really cool- but is there anything special you can do with them?
