Well I pulled all 4 drums and this is what I found. the good wheel intact. the other three in various states of the lineing cumming on-bonded from the shoe. All for drums look good.I decided that I will clean and repack all bearings by hand. Clean the drums up and scotch bright them. From what I have found on the net it is not much more to buy the whole backing plate assembly as one. That way I will not be redoing some thing in a month for a broken spring or magnet or something. So when finished all 4 breaks will be new and hopefully last another ten years. I will save all the old parts to have as a Sunday night emergency repair when no one is open for a spring or something.
