Went to Niece's Wedding down town Charleston 12:00 and reception at 200 year old house on Battery looking out on Ft. Sumter. All fine except it was 93 with a heat index of 105. I apologize for picking on you guys about all that snow and cold weather. Sure would trade temps with you now.

Feel free to send some heat, dry weather and sun up this way. I really need to get going on the hay.

Yep, I would rather have 20F with 8 inches of snow then 100f temps........I wasnt made for living in Africa. When its cold outside you can always wear a coat and gloves.

Was the wedding on the big gazebo on the Battrey? Thats where mine was 17 years ago, and we renewed our vows there this year........Which reminds me, is that Farmall M still sitting at that nursery on 17N?

I was thinking the same thing yesterday as I sit down here in Jacksonville Fl. I came down from Mi. to my grandsons graduation. Man was it HOT down here. It was miserble sitting in a park yesterday for his grad. party. Funny thing though when a small shower came through I though it would wreck his party. Everyone just stood in the rain and acted like no big deal it happens all the time here. You get wet and just stand around and dry back out when the sun comes out. Will be glad to get back home though where I see a expected high of 70 today. DoubleR

We live about an hour west of Jacksonville. We dont get any of the seabreezes here. This area typically posts the coldest and hottest temps in the state. Another month and it's absolutely miserable outside.

Wedding at the Citadel and reception at 5 East Battery. Haven't been in that direction in a while I do know where there is an M on 17S. Seems the older I get the less tolerance I have for the heat.
