Just about done with the mud work in the living room. Gotta sand it out yet then prime and paint. Been living with raw sheetrock for over a year. This was a complete gut - floor, walls, ceiling, new door and windows, electrical, registers, the whole shebang. I tied the race track in the LR to what I put in the kitchen a couple of years ago.
My friends call me the mudder effer. They got that right.
Oh, that's a tractor hood under the window - just to keep it on topic.

Hi ultradog: Reminds me of my 1st house I rehabed 40 years ago this year... The bottom picture with layered ceiling is nice as well as color of paint. Punkin color? Ya forgot to paint over that picture over the door.. Adding paint will transform it into a real keeper. Nice going. ag.

(quoted from post at 09:02:14 05/26/10) Very nice, including the pic over the door.

Really like the ceiling, too.
icture. yes! UD may be an alright fellow after all!

Very nice.... You're working too hard though

Our walls are (were) stucco and wallpaper. Wife wanted new wallpaper a few years ago (painting wasn't good enough). She picked out some textured wallpaper and away I went. All the way thru the first roll.....
Had a bag of stucco that I had done some patching with and mixed up a tubfull & smeared it on the wall in a small area. Looked good and the whole house is getting it now. Just fresh paint when needed. Prolly a taste thing too.

Keep up the good work.

Dave

WOW, Havent seen one of those fire retardent viles in years.

Used to be 2 in our house in the 60s.

When Dad built the new house we threw them on a scrap fire and it almost looked like it burned better.
