ebay sellers

A guy about 20 miles from me has a JD 420 on ebay.It's priced at 3000. Thought i would go look at it tonight.I called and he said the price was now 3750 because he was to cheap compared to other sellers.Another seller raised his price 500 over the phone saying the listed price was a misprint,like it was ebays fault.Guess i'll just pass on these.

Go look at it. If you like it, bid on it.

We've done that before. Found something we wanted on Ebay and it was close. Went to look at it and if we liked it we bid on it.

I'll second Nancy on this- "Its not what you want, its what you get that counts." Go look, decide what you'd pay, and tell the guy, "When the dust settles, if everyone else flakes out, I'll give $XXX." Shake hands, and maybe you'll get it. If not, "nothing ventured, nothing gained."

That's how we got "Easy" our 46A.
