Friend wants a set of ramps

Here's the deal. A friend on mine just got a Farmall A with a woods mower. He has this idea if he had a set of ramps it would make it easier to sharpen the blades on it or to at least take them off and do it. I have a lot of old mobile home I beam laying around and figure maybe I could make a set for him. Any of you guy ever do this or have some you made so I can get an idea instead of just doing as I go.
Thanks

I made a simple ramp one time that worked pretty good. I took a frame from a 1 1/2 ton truck and cut the springs off just behind the axle, then raised that end up so the axle hung down straight. Welded some braces at an angle from the axle up to the frame and widened the frontend that was on the ground. Covered it with oak planks crossways. Instead of drilling the frame for bolts I drilled the planks for big spikes and welded them to the frame where they hung thru beside the frame rails. HTH

I used RR tie cut in two at a 45 deg angle. Makes two short and stout ramps. And they are heavy enough no one wants to borrow them.
