We in NY posted about snow on the ground Tuesday morning. It got to 89.4 according to my Davis weather station at 2:37 this afternoon. Every farmer around here is BTTW getting crops in. These are some pics. of the uncles getting the job done.

Nice pictures. People need to know there is more to NY than tall buildings, high taxes and abundant politicians. Beautiful country. I was raised in western Ny and live in apple country now.

Your corn might germinate better if you get the rocks out of the way so you can get the seed in the ground.

The big guys have been planting for over two weeks here in the Finger Lakes. One supposedly had 3000 acres in as of two weeks ago. Most that are going are on the lighter well drained ground.
On our place we have been working ground but are waiting to plant till now with our heavy clay soils pretty cold. Been a lot of cold wet Mays I've seen in my life. The kind that do not germinate corn on our soil.

Yes that is there farmstead and it is a beautiful place, I don't know if they still use the havestore or not. We used to farm the next town west of them and it is beautiful country around there and nice people too. Chuck
