OT: Propane Prices

I'm trying to decide whether to refill my propane tank now or wait for summer fill pricing.

Has anyone in SE IN or SW OH bought propane lately? If so, what is the going rate for tank owners?

$2.14 in NC Ohio last week. $1.64 last summer. No telling what this summer. If you contract buy from your supplier in the summer you get some discount.

Just got gas from Ferrelgas for 2.09. That is down from 2.38 in Jan. Filled for .99 last summer. They said they would not have a summer fill price this year due to the whacky market but to call during the summer for best price. Could have locked in for 1.47 last year but I never dreamed it would get above 2 bucks. I am in west central Indiana

Futures pricing nearly always shows propane to be lower about July than any other month. Sometimes no more that a couple of cents lower, sometimes a lot lower depending upon the year.
