found a local sale Ford 4500 with loader.

would be used for tilling, mowing, drilling holes, and snow removal.

tires look good, paint is nice (orange, reportedly was used by the county.)

tractor is "industrial". what is difference?

seller wants $5000. reasonable?

thx in advance for help.

seller reports no 3 point but otherwise excellent. engine is diesel.

can a 3 point be added? (probably a dumb question as it seems unlikely but ....)

DOnt know a lot about them, but... 3-point can probably be added, but will be expensive. With the $5000 price tag, you're probably better off to find one with it to begin with.
Industrials have heavier front axles, differnet transmission options, higher capacity hydraulic pumps, etc.

i use my ford 4000 for the same stuff and haying. id pass on an industrial tractor from my experience there normally have been abused especial if owned my the county. but for 5000$ you could find a nice ford 3000 4000 or maybe even a 5000 all would have a 3pt hitch and can do everything your looking for
good luck
