Any old timers remember what the name of the mag was at one time?

Hint --- Farm Journal used to have another name under the words --- Farm Journal.

You could sure be correct, but there was indeed another name that I have found July 1939 is the first one in my heap that I found, and Feb 1941 is the last one that surfaced so far.

If I live to be a hundred I will never get done reading this stuff.

I will post within the hr if all goes well.

If I could find my copy from the 2nd year it was
published, I might be able to tell you. Back then
it was published on newspaper, and was one big
sheet neatly folded . I'll ask my wife where it is
tomorrow. Maybe I can get a picture of it.

The July 1939 copy that costs 5 cents boasts of more than 2,400,000 copies - Largest Farm Magazine ciculation in the world.

FARM JORNAL and Farmers Wife.

It is indeed in color, and I think it even has romance novels included.

Hope you enjoyed this.

Wasn't Ada the Ayrshire in Hoard's Dairman?

And one had a monthly feature called The Lazy Farmer- a poem, usually about the lengths he went to to avoid doing any actual work (kind of an early Red Green).
