Sidney Crosby just popped in the winning goal in overtime for us to win the Gold Medal in men's hockey. He's from just down the road from me in Cole Harbour NS.

The Americans gave us all we could handle and then some. I'm sure glad we won but the Team USA has nothing to feel bad about. They are also a good team that didn't give up. Congrats to you as well.

Well I know nothing about hockey but I didn't understand why they had to play them again when USA had already beaten Canada once. What, do they play until the Canucks finally win one? I'd sure would've liked to hear it if they would of lost. Because the Canadians were sure moaning about it when they did get beat last time. It doesn't mean nothing anyhow, after all it's just hockey. How's that football doing up there? A?

It was a hard fought game that could have gone either way. Our team became complacent near the end of the 3rd period. Went from winning to the uncertainty of overtime.

Well alot of the players on the Canadian team are teammates in NHL with the US players. Guys on the same team were playing against each other in the Olympics. Its Canada, whats the big deal? Would you rather China win? Whats your problem with Canada? The game was played like playoffs, so every country had a chance, Canada and the US were the best so they played each other for gold.

It was one of the best games I've ever seen, no probably the best game I've ever seen.

Really, Team Canada should have won the game it was a dream team of sorts. The fact that Team USA did so well was a very nice surprise, I think they may have been the better "team", Canada had the talent.

Congrats though, they came up big when they had too. That and the whole country isn't going to melt down now.
