Never mind that Larry , we all make mistakes , yours ain't nuthin compared to mine ...mine was buying a grey marketyan-MURRY...Just get b-d going about the Super Bowl , Bet New Orleans will be celebrating wide open until 6 AM Ash Wednesday

Larry pay no attention to buickdouche, he has no life and sits behind his computer all day long trying to feel superior in this case insulting you and your father. Not only here but across other forums. Most of us have learned to ignore his ignorant azz.

Buickdouche, if you do not have anything useful to contribute......STFU!

A 135 is hard to beat. my grandfather bought one in 1966 that was a year old and it still sees almost daily use. It is by far the best, though not biggest, tractor on this farm.

thats a good pix of the folks LARRY , Hope the Deere didn't drive them ta drinkn' LOL ,.the Shifters could be linkage adjusted if a guy knew exactly how to do it , scary RESULTS if you went the wrong way ....if thats a diesel 2010 , You would still have that Deere in the family ...HOWEVER .If that was a gasser , , it took 3 to run it One to get the gas and another to drive , and a 3rd to keep it runnin on ALL 4 cylindars , The early 4 cyl. gasser DEEREs all seemed to think they were supposed to run on 2 Cylindars like their PaPa's did.. LOL . seriously there were manifold heat blocks that required swapping around for hot summer and cold weather optimum performance,if You followed and understood the science they would run OK.. . Used to Own a 3010 finally got a hot enuf plug to run in it.. Would you believe CHAMPIONS were best 25yrs ago ? SHE looked aND rUN gREAT WHEN I SOLD HER DOWN THE RIVER in 1987 .. The 3010 did handle nice , but a 135 MF is hard to beat , especially a diesel ...

Have had no problem with our 2010 does alot of the mowing around the farm.I think it's a good tractor.BlaineF

I dont mind if he wants to insult me , I sometimes deserve to be insulted but I can guarantee he is not half the man my father was.

That was his experience with that tractor . he had other JD S and later on a ford 3000 I just was so happy to find that old picture of him that I wanted to write a little history of it. It is from my memory I wish he was srill here I would try to type a firsthand story. He would have enjoyed talking to you Blaine.

larry. what b&d ment by his comment is your dad was dumb for buying the 2010 so your are also dumb becaues you miss typed 2010 i guess that make me and every one else dumb if like my dad he bought a 2010 and now me becaues i also have a 2010

That collar-shift/SynchroRange shifter set-up was a nightmare on all the Deere tractors once it got worn; not just the 2010. I almost killed myself coming down a steep mountain-side on my Deere 440A skidder. Had the same shifter. Popped into neutral, jammed, engine stalled, lost all steering and brakes, etc.
Luckily I had bearpaw chains on all four wheels that kept me from rolling too fast. Also had a front blade to drop into the ground. But almost flipped over before I stopped since I could not steer.

Also, same happened to me on a run-away 3020. Lost all steering and brakes, couldn't get it into gear to slow me down, couldn't steer, etc. Jumped off going pretty fast. Hit the ground with my legs sideways and snapped both clear in two p and had to get part of my right leg re-attached. Got many steel pins, plates, and screws in me now -thanks to Deere's combo of that awful gear setups and . . . full hydraulic steering and brakes that do NOTHING once the engine quits. But to be fair, I was a Deere mechanic and knew that tractor was in bad shape - and used it anyway.

Now, if I'hd had a 2010, at least I could NOT have lost ALL the steering and ALL the brakes.
THat being said, 2010 (AUSCO) brakes never worked very well, even when new.
