If the Colts offensive line can protect Manning, and if the Colts ball carriers/receivers can hold on to the ball, I think the Colts will win. Had the Vikings held on to the ball, they would be playing today, but one of the Saints strong points is stripping the ball. It's probably going to be a high scoring game and may well come down to who has the ball last. Both are great teams and as usual, the winner is usually the team that makes the fewest mistakes.

Although I think Peterson would look good with some disipline while wearing Green and Gold!!
 
NOT a football fan here. Or any sports for that matter. Sports are a major cause of the downfall of America. People can not tell you who their elected representives are, can't point out the USA on a world map, can't compute the area of a triangle, can't tell you when the Civil War was fought, can't tell you what the 3 branches of government are or tell you the name of a book they've read in the last 10 years.
But they can sure tell you the names of the players on their teams.
Sports are about people.
Little minds talk about people. Better minds talk about things. The best minds talk about ideas.
Sports are purely emotional. Designed for people who don't like to have to think too hard. For people who would rather ride an emotional roller coaster than do something productive with their minds.
Sports and welfare are the bread and circuses in our modern day declining Rome.
And with a thousand other venues to talk about your stupid games I sure wish you all would take your sports talk to another site.
 
Neither. The game is probably rigged anyway. I would not be suprised if someday we will find out that the games played were "fixed" long before they were even played. Like boxing was in the 1950"s and 1960"s. Beside, 10 years from now, who is going to give a giant hairy rats rear who won? Sprots, bah humbug.
 
Whoever wins somebody on the east coast call me so I can make some last minute bets before the game ends here in the central time zone.lol

Guess it doesn't make any difference. Either way, won't put one red cent in my pocket. don't get me started on over priced players, coaches, tickets, goodies, etc.
 
I could'nt care less. I'm a college football fan. I personally just enjoy it because it's a reason for friends and family to come over. On the menu: a mexican 7 layer dip, with fresh avacados, lil' smokie pigs in a blanket, homemade sausage stuffed mushrooms, and whatever potluck everyone else brings! Hopefully somebody will bring beer!
 
Jerry, Well said. Guy's I work with can't understand why I never watch TV. Lately my comment is.... "atleast I can think my way out of a problem or issue on the job, without tucking my tail and running to mr. supervisor." They give me the deer in the headlight look...... nuff said.
 
I agree Dog. Pro sports players for the most part are overpaid, under educated, and not that great to watch. Give me High school or College anyday. Although, collge sports is a buisness also.Lots of illegal stuff goes on in the college football ranks. Too bad,..it usually is a good sport to watch.
 
I could really care less whom wins..After being a sports fan for half of my life I finally got sick of all sports and no longer watch any. Nearly half of all athletes are convicted felons and they are all overpaid.

Why are they playing football in the middle of basketball season.Of course the NBA will be lucky to be done by July 4th and baseball wont be done until it snows.The seasons all overlap each other so much anymore.

Too many commercials for me to watch any sports these days. I'll probably read about who won tomorrow, but it doesn't matter.
 
I agree 100%..I dont fit in at work because all they can talk is football.They could care less about serious issues that face our country.
 
As of 7:00pm, they sure haven't showed me anything impressive. Fumbles, and dropped balls - SHEEEEEESCH! High school ball.
