O.T. Computer Question

I changed the resolution 0n my computer so that the entire line of print would show without moving it side to side. Now the entire line shows but its off centered and doesn"t fill the whole screen. Is there a way to correct this? Thank You

That was an easy fix with my old CRT monitor but I don't know about the viewing adjustment on a flat panel or flat screen monitor.

Do yourself a favor, the next time you get a new monitor buy one with a larger screen size. It is rare that I have any side to side scrolling with my 19 inch one. It has such a great picture that I will go even larger next time since it is so enjoyable to watch streaming Netflix movies via it. Easier on tired old eyes too.

There are setting on the monitor to adjust this. You just got to find them.

Some times changing the resolution speed or the number of colors will change it.

If it is a newer LCD monitor it should have an "Auto" setting that will correct the problem. Older monitors usually have a set of buttons on the front below the screen to center the picture horizontally and vertically.
