this is my neighbors butcher kettle inside their P.A. butcherhouse / summer kitchen the bench is a very old butcher bench . It all still gets used by some of the nicest neighbors I WILL EVER MEET IF i live to be 100 !!!!

i got the twin to the meat saw hanging on the left...story goes it came with family on trip over from Germany,wintered in Iowa,and came to Texas following year...also got the butcher knife that was used with it.

looking at the size of that woodstove,i'd rather be cookin out there in winter time...i bet it gets warm in there when they scaldin pigs.

That kettle is for making scrapple. One of those foods that you eat with out thinking about what went into it.
