I got this utility trailer i picked up a while back. Its got Ford Model "A" axle and rims, hubcaps, and beauty rings, all in good shape. It has a spare to match. Hate to just ebay it...any place I should list it???These parts GOT to be hard to come by... Want it to be used in the right way like tractor parts for a restoration...Suggestions everyone...Please!

Two of the bigger Model A sites are www.ahooga.com and www.mafca.com. But don't be surprised if there isn't too much demand- thousands of Model A's have been turned into hot rods, and the wheels and tires are always changed out to more modern stuff in that process.

But if they are good, I do urge you to try to sell them that way. Or your local Craigs list. Shame to see them junked if they are in good shape.

Thanks, I appreciate your trying to help others with what you have.

I don't know if a local chapter of the club listed below could help or not.

Probably Hemmings would be too pricey help much but would get them into the right hands.

McPherson College in McPherson, KS has an auto restoration course but doubt they stock parts.

The person that needs those is out there it is just a matter of connecting with them. Best wishes.

Little Dearborn Parts, Minneapolis, MN
Phone # 612-331-2066, has a lot of Model A stuff. I junked out two of those cars and can tell you the wheels and axles are the last parts to go.

Model A won't have beauty rings. What is the tire size? Ford had 16,17 and 18 inch wire wheels that used beauty rings. Model A were 19 and 21 inch rims.

If they are not the model A size, they are worth more than Model A.

18 inch were on 32 fords, 17 were on 33 and 34 ford and 16's were on 35 fords.
