WHAT COULD HAPPEN NEXT:

Laws for Farming

Laws like……
The engine and the warranty always expire together.
The bean market goes up 20 cents on the day after you sell
“Interchangeable” won’t. “Unbreakable” isn’t. “Guaranteed” means “good luck”.
You end up with 11 rows left to plant with a 12-row planter.
Nails only puncture the inside dual.
Cockleburs grow only in the row.
Implement dealers always lack just one part. Yours.
The markets are good when you have absolutely nothing to sell.
Lumber cut to length is always an inch too short.
The wrong part comes in the right box.
“Labor saving” means at the factory.
The right tool is never in the chest.
A dropped tool will always roll under the truck to its exact geographic center.
You have every size bolt except the size you happen to need.
The combine breaks down the last day of harvest.
“Reworked” means “repainted”.
The tractor cab air conditioner breaks down only on the hottest days.
The tractor cab heater breaks down only on the coldest days.
It always rains on the day you load hogs

OH for shame You forgor MURPHY'S LAW. A farmer grows enough cotton to produce a pair of coveralls ---BUT WEARS OUT TWO !!!! lol LOU

JR Frye, You've left me speechless. I'm not sure what to say. A good 80% of that true just this year. Fed a valve through the turbo on the combine, air conditioning went out in both the steiger and combine. The list goes on. got to be one of the funniest and most true things i ever heard. Thanks, Steiger.

The day before you need a piece of equipment, it works perfectly.....when you go to either 1 start it the next day or 2 pull it out of the shed it breaks.

More things break as the day goes on....

You leave the house with a bottle of water...then realise you left it in the barn when getting the tractor.

No matter how many rocks you pick out of the field every year ....they grow faster and in a greater quantity than your crop.

You always manage to be on the last couple passes in a hay field.... When you break a shear bolt and then the next day it rains

The breakdown always occurs in the far end of the field farthest away from the house and you don't have your cell phone with you. (In my case, it was long before the cell phone was invented.)

5 seconds after pulling on your coveralls, you have to go to the bathroom for a sit down.

The number of times you get stuck in the spring is directly proprtional to the number of acres you have to plant and how big your loans are.

There is always one hog which will come over the driving board.

No you will never have enough drawbolts.

Upon returning from town you will remember what you forgot to get.

It worked just fine when you parked it in the barn after spring but doesnt work at all when you need it this fall. But if I didnt love it I wouldnt do it cuz I wouldnt have it anyother way

when you finally find the WD 45 you like , the price is good it suits all your needs , its not to far away, your wife agrees, you have enough money saved, you know you will be able to transport it home with no problem, It was sold the day before!!!!

your sweet corn is ready to pick a week after your wife planned a family picnic. either that or you both planned it perfect your sweet corn is going to be perfect for the family picnic , you look at it every day yes it will be ready for the picnic this year . It is going to be so good and sweet . You go to pick it the morning of the picnic , The racoons scratched it all open the night before.

For my experience you usually have 13 rows left to plant with a 12 row, so you have to come back for 1 row (shut off rows etc.) And to do that 1 row or so you end up at the wrong end of the field from where you intend to leave from.

All of the bolts come out except the last one, which twists off and has to be drfilled out. Need just a little heat to break something loose, drag the cutting rig down to the site, and no gas/air. Know you have a spare, spend two hours looking for it, drive to town and pick up a new part, put it on and stumble over the spare you couldn't find...and there are two spares....lol
