Well I guess I had high hopes for the suburban. Its a 1988 Silverado 20 3/4 ton 2wd with fuel injected 454. Rating on the hitch is 9500 witch I could maybe upgrade to something heavier, but the towing rate on truck is 8600 lbs. I like the passenger space of the suburban thats why I bought it.Might just have to make a few trips to get everything moved.Going to try to attend 4 or 5 events which will make it a lot of road time.I guess I'll start looking for something in a 1 ton range with 5 th wheel set up.Just was trying to keep the cost down. Looks like I'll build a 10,000 pound trailer .Thanks for all the replies.

Dry weight on J.D. 60 5330 lbs (mine have loaded tires)

" " J.D. A 3978 lbs
" " J.D. B ?

Still going to have to watch that weight. 5330 for the 60 plus 3978 for the A PLUS the weight of the trailer will still put you WAY over 10K.

Haul the 60 by itself. I think you should be able to get the other 2 together. Trailer brakes is a MUST here.

For one tractor a 10,000# trailer would work, but why not just get 2 7000# axles and have a heavier duty trailer with bigger and better everything for not much more money. To carry two tractors you'll need a triple axle or tandem dually. I'd suggest a heavy duty 1 ton or bigger to haul both tractors. You want to have enough brake capacity to be able to stop in a hurry if you have to. Dave

There's always some way to get equipment around. '05 3/4t 4x4 and tri-axle with elec. brakes; 1960's JD 2010, loaded tires and loader.
