John Deere Gator loses prime?

My JD gator (diesel) Loses prime about every 5 hrs of run time. I tried all the obvious repairs, clean screen, new fuel filter, etc. Has anyone had a fuel pump go out on these? JD dealer says it is rare. Help!!!!

Try installing new fuel lines. The fibers breakdown and allow air in.Had this problem with a bigger JD tractor and new lines solved the problem. Good luck.

Fuel pick up in the tank, it is an ongoing problem with JD diesels. Owner of three diesel lawn mowers, I chased one mower all summer till I found it, it didn t take long for the next two.
