Recently purchased Ford 4000 with Bushhog loader. Has to be the best money I have ever spent. Unloaded 10 round bales off of my trailer today. It took about 15 minutes. It took me over an hour last time with my D17 with three point bale carrier, included pushing bales off by hand. Also accomplished more in one month with loader than a year with the three point attachments.

Yep 3 points have there place but a loader has its place also and on the right tractor and used right a loader can be just an extra large wheel barrow or it can be a real handy can not live with out tool. Now if you hang a back blade and say 6-10 suit case weights on that blade that tractor can/will move mountains but yes to move them it takes time and a lot of fuel LOL

I passed on a IH with a loader and a scraper for around 800.00. I have been kicking myself ever since. At the time I Just didn't want or need another tractor. Now it seams there is always a need for a bucket loader. Not even sure of the model now, but it reminded me of the newer verson of the Farmall M. There's always tomorrow. Stan
