JD-TEK generator parts

no, it does not stand for John Deere, but for china junk. I need a source of parts for the engine, can anyone help me?

Sorry but you can't polish a t*rd.
It will be cheaper to either locate a complete generic taper shaft engine.Or sell the "turkey" to some tinkerer. Then purchase a brand name generator from local dealer who has a stocked shop.

AS b&d remarked, these don"t seem to have a good reputation, altho postings do differ wildly, from pure junk to perfectly happy...
I assume it didn"t come from an established store; posts say it"s sold thru various outlets, incl Sears and Sam"s Club, probably Outdoor/Farm/Ag stores and online, under various names in addition to yours..
Google JD-Tek and numerous posts will come up; there should be some stores in your area that handle the line under one of it"s names.
