OT arthritis

Has anyone tried the home remedy using cinnamon and honey? I think I will try it & see if my hands will get better again after years of wrenching tractors apart and together again.

Talking about wrenching I've always heard that WD40 was good for arthritis. As for conventional medicine my wife has some prescription stuff called Zostrix that I use on my neck then it gets gets to hurting more than usual and that stuff is awsome.

mite not be reccommended but it works good...been rubbing my hands with it last 15 years or so...no extra ears growin out my elbows yet.

I think WD40 has wintergreen oil in it as one of
the main ingredients. The other part is a little of some mixture of petroleum distillate. You
probably have to use it from head to toe daily
to develop any carcinogenic problems. I worked
off and on in the retail drug business and saw a
lot of more dangerous proprietary products used.

The secret to lessening the affects of arthritis is to get rid of the inflamation that is actually causing the pain/stiffness. You can't get rid of inflamation from the outside...Anti-inflamatory drugs will do the job but you need to get the right one for you and have blood tests periodically to make sure they aren't affecting your kidneys or liver. I have been on one every since right before I had my knee replaced. Works so good that my knee pain was gone and almost decided to not get my knee done. That would have been a bad mistake as it was very worn out. Point is , forget the snake oils. Mine is called "Voltarin" and it works. All I have to do is stop taking it for a week to verify that. One a day. It is not a pain reliever that works on your brain , it gets rid of the inflamation in the joint that causes the pain in the first place.I think I might have actually found a Dr. that has some common sense?

I'm not crippled, but get a little stoved up sometimes. Vinegar works for me. Couple swiggs out of the bottle a day.
