i am wanting a small 4x4 baler or a 4x5 but there not easy to come by.i only have about 15 acres to bale.the 851 newholland chain balers seem to be every where for a decent price .so should i go with a 851 baler and just make the bales a little smaller or wait for a decent small baler.thanks RICK

A 125 Krone is my first choice as they are a good baler with fewer moving parts and of the ones that are around me they just keep making hay as the first one i sold my good friend is still making bales and only has had two what i call break downs in 15-16 years . Now his boy has knocked off pick up tine but that is something that just happens to balers . My other freiend his is a bit newer and we have not done any repairs at all on it in the last 10 that he has had his other then pick up tines

I agree with the Vet, the Krone or its twin, the small M&W are super easy to run balers. Very tight on the outside bale, to shed water, softer core so cows can eat.

We have a <a HREF="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUz02GabPYA">KRONE 125</a> 4x4 fixed chamber baler that is about 10 years old.

It requires a minimum 35HP tractor.

It is a manual tie; <a HREF="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_kBbzTX0OQ">pull the rope</a> to start the tying process.

One hydraulic hose lifts/lowers both the pickup and tailgate.

We like the <a HREF="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7X1TPAUgf38">4x4 bales</a> because they are easy to handle.

We paid $1250 for this used baler.
