wd 9

aquired a wd 9 mccormick has been sitting for 30 yrs. #1 cylinder filled with water after stack rotted off. and water froze and broke liner and cylinder. does any one know of a will fit list for this block? will a w9 gas block work or a t or td 9? any ideas what price would be? any thoughts on this would be helpfull

Can't help much, but I know parts from a W9 won't work. TD9, yes. Be sure and have your cylinder head magnafluxed for cracks.

There may be some super WD9 parts that will work, but the bore may be larger.

I got one a few years back in about the same shape, do a little looking used parts are plentifull and compared to the green machines... cheap! I got mine running darn good and what a horse..

I would look in Canada for parts they are still everywhere up there. We have three of them (2 runners) and working on 4 and 5.
