I all way thought that baseball was played on Sunday afternoons, not at midnight at 20 degrees. For your info, Last nights Rockies game started at 8:15 and ran till 12:30 at 20 degrees in Denver. Full house of close to 50,000. Thats when TV told them to play it---Oh well, I guess it is the money thing.

Twins played there last game in the Metrodome last night.Snowing like a mother here now.Wonder how it will go if they make the playoffs again in there new stadium.

Twenty degrees and three inches of snow sounds like home field advantage to me! Let's see how that billion-dollar Yankee bullpen handles a little weather.

Weather conditions shouldn"t matter for some events- just another factor for players to adapt to, see who adapts best and is better team. Of course, being from Wisconsin and sometimes Packer watcher the idea of freezing temperatures during game is no concern for home team -especially playing southern team, we chuckle at frostbite rumors and tell other team they can always forfeite game.
NASCAR racing seems to be for wimps, a 1/4 inch of rain and stop racing? Compare to SCCA/FIM races - like when Daytona is run, schedule is 6 or 12 hours starting at specified time, no gripeing about rain unless is a hurricane. Minnesota had a couple SCCA races when snowing as part of timed rally, Elkart Lake had some snowflakes also. (Teasing/humor Alert!)

They"re used to it Paulie. I wonder if you know where NY is. It ain"t near Florida or Minnesota. And I guess the Twins won"t be there shivering with them, will they?
