Locked up LONG 360

I got a LONG 360 w/a locked engine. Got it freed up after soaking it for a few days. Now may problem is no oil PSI. pulled pan cover cleaned screen still zero oil PSI. My question is this a gear mesh pump? What does the oil pump run off of? I never been inside one of these before. comments are welcome.
PS The engine was running when it was parked w/ 1800 hours on it. It was born in the late 70"s
 
I do not want to question the 1800 hours, However the tachs on those tractors tend to fail on the hourmeter part of the display while the Engine hour part of the tachometer will continue to work. My 460 shows about 750 hours and I know it has way more than that. Sorry I cannot help you out though on your oil pressure problem.
 
You should pull the pump and set it in a clean container of oil and prime it, then reinstall it.
You may want to take a look at one the rod & main bearings to make sure they're not scored. Hal
