to30 clutch

I can tell you the way I do it. Im not sure if its right and its deffinately not safe but it always works. First get the tractor to a place with plenty of room like an empty field or road. Have someone get on the tractor that can opperate it pretty good. If the tractor will start in gear put it in the highest gear it will start in and take off, once it gets going push down the clutch and stomp both brakes it should break loose. If it wont start in gear you will have to jump the solenoid to crank it while in gear (EVEN LESS SAFE) then do the same thing clutch and both brakes.

My TO-30 is currently frozen and I tried that trick last weekend and it didn't work for me but I only had it in 2nd gear. That trick used to work on my Jeep sometimes, otherwise I would start it in gear, push in the clutch and drive into a big tree, that never failed.

Ha ha I guess that might work too! I sure hope he has a good cow catcher bumper though! I always try to do it in 3rd or even 4th gear on a downhill grade.
