Anyone have a good tire source?

Besides Millers, do any of you have a dealer you favor for price, quality and service? Would like to find a few more sources to compare tire prices. Scrounged around for 3 days to find a decent used 11.2-28 for dad"s 2N, most new prices were going for $250 and up.

Your best bet would prob. be to find someone local. Shipping can be very expensive and service, well that's obvious. I have about 4 shops in a 20 mile radius that I deal with and they are pretty comp. with anything I've found on the net. Talking face to face also has many advantages. I have purchased many used tires from dealers if they know ahead what I am looking for.

Depends where you are on shipping. Tucker's tire service in Tennesse (Dyersburg) west of Nasville has good prices but shipping can kill the deal. Henry

I have got some good prices from Discount Tire. They will sell them but not mount them.

Tire Town is showing both new in used in that size.

I spoke with them on the phone last year about purchasing some off beat sized tires and found the Leavenworth location to be more knowledgeable than the Shawnee store, both in Kansas.

For antique sized tires other than tractor Coker Tire is another alternative to Miller.

think I paid about 696.00 for 2 tires and tubes for 9n from Tucker Tire in august, freight included, still less than 490.00 each qoute from local tire source,Mark

my local dealer will match or beat anywhere I've ever called on price...Tire town supposed to have 2nd's but have inquired on the phone & they are always out of what size you need & want to sell new & they won't reply to E-Mails....Kent

I think they're mainly in the west, but Les Schwab is about the best around here. Fast service, and have mobile service in your field as well.

i've been happy with Tucker Tires...they useta have some deals on ebay with free shipping with wheels and tubes and already mounted...i'm sure wheels are chinese but i havent had any probs with em so far.

I would sell you some imports for anywhere from $200-$230. Titans would be around $300.
