Ok, my 750 has a Murphy valve on it but it only has the fuel shut off wire hooked to it. If I shut it off with manuel cable it will start right up but if I shut it off with murphy electric fuel shut off and imedeatly try to start it again it has to crank and crank. Power is going to switch but could it be it does not let any fuel through? Do them valves ever go bad?

Isn't the murphy valve starving the pump of fuel where the cable shut off dumps the injection rack. Guessing using the valve to shut off is causing the pump to need to prime before it can build up pressure again to where it will run.

My suggestion use the murphy valve for what it was intended for, Shut down the engine incase of loss of oil pressure or overheating. use the cable to shut the engine off.

does your 750 have an override switch to bypass safety switches and allow instant starting? 850's had one, I thought gray cab 750's were similarily equipped.
